JIMMY DELSHAD
Jimmy Delshad is Vice Chairman of Pacific Capital Group. From 2003 to 2011, Mr. Delshad served on the Beverly Hills City Council and was twice elected Mayor of Beverly Hills. He is an internationally-recognized authority on the use of advanced SMART technologies in city management and law enforcement. Under his leadership, Beverly Hills enacted more than 170 technology initiatives, improving the lives and safety of the city’s residents and establishing Beverly Hills as a global technology trendsetter.
After graduating from California State University, Northridge, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Electronic Engineering, Mr. Delshad embarked on a career in computer technology, eventually becoming CEO of American International Business, Inc., a manufacturer of computer storage equipment. His company quickly became a major supplier to most of the original equipment manufacturing (OEM) companies in the computer industry, including IBM and EMC.
Mr. Delshad is Past president of Sinai Temple, one of America’s largest, and serves on the boards of numerous non-profit and community organizations, including the Los Angeles World Affairs Council. He received an honorary doctorate from American Liberty University. In 2011, former Mayor Delshad was designated “Goodwill Ambassador” by the City of Beverly Hills.
